
Something must have triggered her mind to become vocal now. Her filing of the law suit against her previous employer might not go down well with her present employer if it's in the U.S context or if it's in another bank given the scale of media coverage here. She may or may not be opening a can of worms when citibank shows documentated proof to external parties on her work performance then and counselling records to dismiss her allegation.
From the legal aspect/settlement, was it a wrongful dismissal (guilty) on discriminary ground which Citibank needs to prove now?
From the moral point of view/settlement, it takes great skill to talk to people and manage their emotion.
